St. Luke in the Fields Outreach Benefit at Bubby's - Rescheduled for Monday, December 17th
November 21, 2012
A Welcome Home at Bubby's, which had been postponed due to Hurricane Sandy, has been rescheduled for Monday, December 17th from 6:30 - 9:30 PM
Today, perhaps 10% of the Homeless LGBT youth population in New York City are registered at "The Church" –a program that creates an accepting, supportive atmosphere to help at-risk LGBTQA youth develop a positive self-image, build deeper community, and awaken their artistic potential. We provide art, dance, and drama workshops and a delicious meal. Social workers are present for referrals and support.
Please join us on Monday evening, December 17th, 6:30-9:30 PM at Bubby's, 120 Hudson St. in Tribeca.
And come meet Senator Tom Duane, the lead sponsor of same-sex marriage legislation in the New York State Senate. To learn more about Sen. Duane and his legislative accomplishments, click here.
