Tenor Todd Frizzell to perform Only Make Believe, a benefit recital of song in celebration and support of LGBT Outreach and Pride Month 2012

LGBT Life at The Church of St. Luke in the Fields presents tenor Todd Frizzell in a recital entitled Only Make Believe, a performance of songs and duets which examine and celebrate different forms of love and relationships.
This annual event is a part of St. Luke’s yearly celebration of LGBT Pride month. On Friday, June 15th at 8:00 PM, Mr. Frizzell will be joined by soprano Linda Lee Jones, and accompanied by pianist Andrew Andela. The program will include Four Dialogues for two pianos, soprano, and tenor by Ned Rorem, excerpts from Show Boat by Jerome Kern, Lullabies for a Cranky Baby by Robert Schumann, and songs from A Little Night Music by Steven Sondheim.
Todd Frizzell, tenor, has been a member of the Choir of St Luke in the Fields, a professional vocal ensemble, for 11 years. He performs regularly with the Western Wind Vocal Ensemble, Early Music New York, The Nashir Chorale, and is a cantorial soloist at Temple Emanuel in Great Neck, New York. He has also worked professionally as an entertainer on American Hawaii Cruises, with the San Francisco Opera Chorus, Opera Colorado, and regionally in musical theater.
