Learning is a lifelong journey, an adventure of asking questions about God, the Bible, ourselves and our world. St. Luke’s encourages people of all ages to participate in official and informal learning.
Sunday School is the most obvious learning opportunity for children; please click on the Children and Teens link to learn more. There are many impressions made on children when they come to church. We want to ensure that they feel welcome, that the younger children find the coloring bulletins, and have a chance to experience the most compelling parts of the service.
Formal learning for adults includes Bible Study, lectures and workshops; for more information, please click on the Adults link. Informal conversations about the sermon or the music in the worship service happen at coffee hour, and brunch discussions of members’ own questions of faith pop up most Sundays.
Sacraments or rituals mark particular steps in our journey of faith: for more information about baptisms, weddings/Unions, or funerals click on the link to your left. For more information about youth or Adult confirmation, reception, or reaffirmation of faith, please look for the age appropriate link.
