St. Luke’s is lively; there always seems to be something going on. All are welcome to join in any of the many opportunities for community, support and service throughout the week.
Fellowship and feasting have a long history at St. Luke's. Our active Parish Life Committee plans many events and meals throughout the year: Easter, Christmas, Pentecost, Gay Pride, St. Francis Day with Blessing of the Animals, and St. Luke's Sunday. To find out more about how to participate in making these events happen, please click “Parish Life” at your left.
Groups meet regularly to participate in activities such as Centering Prayer or Benedictine spirituality. Family, Faith and Imagination is our group for parents. Many parishioners join small groups that meet regularly for dinner, conversation, and prayer. Please scroll down to find the many groups and ways to participate in community life. Newcomers are always welcome!
Our life also extends beyond the borders of New York City. We have visited and hosted members of our companion parish, the Tsogong Cathedral in the Diocese of Matlosane, South Africa. We also are developing a relationship with St. Mary’s Primrose Hill, in the Diocese of London.
