Dear St. Luke’s Members and Friends,
We hope you will join us in making a pledge to support St. Luke’s financially in 2015. Our parish family depends on these pledges to meet our operating expenses, including utilities, salaries, and the maintenance of our historic block.
There are two ways to pledge:
- You can print and fill out the pledge form and mail it back to the parish office or drop it in the collection plate at a Sunday service.
- If you’d like to pledge online, please visit http://www.stlukeinthefields.org/pledge-form
* These donations are tax-deductible.
Please complete your pledge by October 24. As our campaign progresses, we will mail a stewardship status update to the parish. You’ll also hear from us through Stewardship Moments at Sunday services and email updates.
We’re excited to launch the campaign and hope you will join us in “Breaking New Ground” in 2015. We chose this theme to celebrate the major changes that will happen as the residential and school construction begins. This theme will also help us to reflect together on our parish’s history of pulling together to respond to God’s call, even in challenging times: the small group that gathered along the riverfront in 1820 to create St. Luke’s; building St. Luke’s School in 1956; working together to respond to the HIV/AIDS crisis in the 1980’s; and re-building the parish after the fire in 1981. Finally, we see this theme of “Breaking New Ground” as an invitation to see what God might be asking us to create in our own lives and in our families.
We are grateful for the community’s ongoing financial support of the parish. Thank you for prayerfully considering a pledge.
